Additional Document Requirements for Minor Travellers (Under the Age of 18)

The following documents are required for eligible minor travellers (under 18 years of age) applying for a Brazil Tourism or Transit eVisa in addition to the common requirements listed above.

Mandatory documents apply to all minors, while additional documents may be requested based on individual circumstances.

  • Authorisation Letter for the Issuance of a Brazil eVisa to a Minor:Submit a letter signed by both parents authorising the issue of a Brazil eVisa to the minor. The letter must be notarised and include the public notary’s stamp with the current date.
  • Birth Certificate: Provide the minor’s original birth certificate and one clear copy.
  • Parents’ Photo ID: Submit a copy of a valid passport or another photo ID for each parent:
    • Mother
    • Father
