The Brazil Seafarer eVisa is available only to eligible Chinese citizens travelling to Brazil for work as seafarers or vessel crew members.

Document Requirements for Brazil Seafarer eVisa

Eligible applicants must provide the following documents when applying for a Brazil Seafarer eVisa:

  • Passport Biopage Scan: A clear colour scan of the passport bio page, with all details and the full MRZ visible.
  • Applicant Photo: A recent digital colour photo with a plain background and a clear view of the applicant’s face is required.
  • Seafarer’s Identity Document (SID): A clear scan of the Seafarer’s Passport issued by the People’s Republic of China must be submitted during application.
  • Dispatch Letter from the Affiliated Company: A letter from the company employing or assigning the seafarer, confirming their job, trip and vessel details.
  • Round-Trip Flight Tickets: Confirmed return flight tickets in English or Portuguese showing the applicant’s name, flight numbers and travel dates.
